Celeste e Rosa

2015 – Photos

Celeste and Rosa, (Blue and Pink) is part of an investigation on education and gender identity that I am
developing with my children. Photographing the same child dressed once in blue and once in pink I wanted to
highlight the first of conditionings that initiate gender stereotypes and influence us even before birth.

“Celeste e Rosa” fa parte di una ricerca sull’educazione e sull’identità di genere che sto sviluppando insieme ai miei figli. Fotografando lo stesso bambino vestito una volta di celeste e una volta  di rosa sottolineo il primo dei condizionamenti che danno inizio agli stereotipi di genere e che ci condizionano ancora prima di nascere.
